Enchanting Wedding on the Coast of Greece

On the northwestern side of Greece, picturesquely nestled in the cliffs, lies the “Pearl of the West Coast”, the charming town of Parga. The dreamy village inspires with romantic, narrow streets, and is known for its forested mountain heights, flat sandy beaches and several fishing villages.

With a breathtaking view of the sea and the bay of the colorful town, Chelsie and Chris exchanged vows surrounded by the enthusiasm of their friends who had flown to Greece for an unforgettable weekend of celebration. Wedding planner Claire of Lefkas Weddings ensured everything went off without a hitch with a wealth of experience, professionalism and attention to detail.

From Claire of Lefkas Weddings: “Chelsie contacted me in May 2021 to see if there was a possibility of arranging a wedding for late summer. She and Chris had already cancelled their wedding plans in the UK several times because of Covid and were very cautious with too much anticipation.

I assured them that they could leave everything in our experienced hands, and we enthusiastically planned this wonderful day in Parga on the Epirus coast. The sweet couple already knew the pretty Greek town and its long sandy beaches from family vacations and were eager to share it with their friends.

They booked the stylish Irida Boutique Hotel for the arrangements and secured a ceremony at a somewhat hidden location overlooking the beach.

The venue, Villa Rossa, put together a custom vegan menu for the reception dinner, and we arranged a zesty vegan wedding cake with lemon for the lucky bride, who was thrilled to have her Greek tastes and dietary desires brought together!

Chelsie wore an elegant gown from Essence of Australia and the five bridesmaids rounded out the look with gorgeous olive green dresses from Wed2B. The ceremony and dinner were done in subtle pastels with olive and eucalyptus tones.”
