Ethereal Autumn Bride
From day to day the sun looses more and more power, preparing the arrival of an autumn bride. Leaves are falling from the trees, fields are being harvested and grass dries out. The colors of summer change. Not yellow and pink but orange and dark red adorn from now on Mother Nature whose beauty never fades.
The moment has come, the autumn bride arrived. Pale yet expressive, filigree yet strong. She floats across meadows and fields, explores her mutable empire. As if she explored it every year once more…
„Inspired by the richness of the harvest season and parched foliage, we decided to create a minimalistic styled shoot with a tight link to nature.“ photographer Anna Doshina told us and added: „Our model, Laurence, was an allegory of autumn herself. Both of us loved how Laurence looked without make up – as if she came down straight from a 17th century Dutch painting.“
“We ´” means Anna and florist Emily of Fleuropean who complemented the concept and the feathery dress by Needle and Thread with her floral artwork perfectly.
„The central elements of this shoot were of course the seasonal flowers handpicked by Emily and tied up together so delicately in a form of a dry crown, an ethereal clematis vest and an autumnal bouquet with a waterfall of ribbons.“ Anna raves about her talented colleague.
We think both artists made great contributions to this project and deserve our admiration. Let´s get carried away by the atmospheric pictures shot by Anna Doshina together…
