Ethereal Decadence

Hardly noticeable a sheer veil superimposes on her face failing to hide the beauty of a bride underneath. Just like the delicate transparent dress covering just a little of her with embroidered blossoms.

Her fragility seems contagious, everything around her fades. Deceased monochrome colors and a fragile filigree cake make change visible. Exactly like the bright-colored roses leave by leave it impairs layer by layer its size and strength.

Graceful stationery, translucent silk and a heavenly veil are the feathery carriers of effortless romance, inspired by the true love of Romeo and Juliet as the poetic paper goods from Shakespeare’s times purports.

Also a whiff of boudoir spread by sheer fabrics and loosely pinned-up hair is undeniable. Imperceptibly, almost weightlessly the delicate bride floats towards her destiny. Carried by plain romance and driven by the beautiful glow.

It´s her incomparable signature that event designer Anna-Jill Gierhards of Kiss from Fleur creates her concepts. And it´s her love for details and seeking perfection which make her artworks so unique.

Photographer Cornelia Lietz is an equally talented artist and knew exactly how to capture Anna´s visions in a very stylish way. Don´t you think?
