Colorful Desert Elopement

Until the horizon spreads its arms to embrace an endlessly seeming landscape to this bridal couple´s feet. What a wonderful setting for their desert elopement!

Not a single flower seems to grow, no tree is giving shade. Obviously the wind pushes on the clouds, playing with the panels of their ceremony arc. Yet like a mirage her bridal bouquet radiates with vivid colors…

An oasis among nowhere awaits the couple for a dinner for two. Inspired by the colors of the buds in bold orange and lush green.

Black and white – just like bride and groom – join the color palette to the table as the newly-weds do. Undisturbed they indulge in silence and togetherness…

You´ll never expect where this shooting took place! „When most people think about the Pacific Northwest and Washington State, they think of a lush and rugged landscape where it rains a lot. And while those things are true, Washington also has a vibrant desert. We wanted to showcase the beauty that lies just east of the Cascades.“ photographer Catie Coyle told us.

Despite the desert´s plain and natural color palette this piece of earth turned into a wonderful place rich in colorful of stark contrasts and vivid textures. The event designers and florists of Paper Hearts + Co let a harmonic and colorful thread run through the paper goods of Eleven + West as well as the entire venue of Cave B Estate Winery + Resort.

In the end photographer Catie Coyle captured this amazing piece of art for us on camera. So lay back and enjoy!
