Footprints of a bride

Grass-lined paths of sand lead up densely-grown hills. We follow the footsteps of a bride to the top from where the view seems infinite and the freedom endless.

An almost cloudless sky lies on the calm sea, without a single breeze no wave wants to head towards land. Just like us, the wind followed the bride, to ask her brown hair and her white dress for a dance.

If nature provides you with so much beauty you should not try to outdo it. That´s what photographer Kerry Jeanne, who brought us these great bridal inspirations from the US, was aware of, too. „For this shoot, I drew in all the inspiration from Cape Kiwanda and it’s wild natural landscape. The color of the sands and the rock formations influenced the stationery suite made by Esther Clark Co with its earthy hues.“ she proudly reveals.

Also the sheer lace dress with straps reminiscent of delicate flowers was absolutely made for Kerry´s visions.

Claire Pettibone recently released new gowns for their Romantique line and as soon as I saw that the gown had capes, I knew I had found the perfect dress. the way it caught the wind was beyond perfect.“ Kerry excitedly told us.

Only a handful of accessories were needed to complete the bridal style and to harmoniously round off the overall picture. „Paired with a soft silk chiffon tulle veil and an armful of fresh vibrant flowers by Foraged Floral, we were whisked off our feet into a world of sun and sand filled day-dreams.“

With her impressive pictures Kerry Jeanne offers us a welcome break inviting us to dream away the day…
