Glamorous Sustainability

Yes, it does exist, even in a fast-paced time like ours: the glamorous sustainability – as impressively demonstrated by wedding inspirations by Simone Betz of ROVA Fine Art Wedding. Her mindset is exemplary and deserves our greatest recognition, as well as her fantastic work.

She told us how this extraordinary shoot came about: “Today we live in a world full of things, but with too little importance. We do not take the time to stop and reflect on what’s really important: thinking about life, nature and our resources… We wanted to change that and bring a sustainable and conscious approach to the wedding world.”

With us, photographer Simone Betz refers to her creative team of like-minded wedding providers, with whom she shares a common goal: “We firmly believe that it is possible to combine this mindset with a glamorous and luxurious setting to create an extraordinary wedding inspiration without hurting people, nature or the environment.”

Sustainability as a common thread

Okay, in this case, it is more of a blue thread that went through the unusual concept and the historic location: “The color palette consisted of white, light and dark blue tones as well as golden highlights. We were inspired by the baroque palace Zeilitzheim, which is not only a beautiful wedding location in the heart of the Franconian wine region, but also the home of the three ecological winemakers “Wine of 3″.”

The design of the concept also relies on environmentally friendly decorative elements, as we learn: “The decoration was done by Heidigold Designerie. It combined genuine, luxurious vintage tableware, such as pewter plates as a plate, with traditional white porcelain with blue accents. Real golden vintage cutlery, linen napkins and beeswax candles rounded off the decoration concept. The stationery was created by feinimdesign who specializes in sustainable and ecological stationery, combining dark blue with handwritten white calligraphy and golden accents.”

Eco-friendly highlights for body and soul

But all this was not enough for the dedicated team. With an incredible wedding cake, stunning wedding dresses and unique jewelry they brought it to perfection: “Our wedding cake was created by Sabrina Gotzmeister, who worked exclusively with regional ingredients and even used the edible gold leaf of sustainable, German production. The extraordinary dresses came from Ann Wiberg Couture, a Danish haute couture designer, who makes her creations from recycled and hand-dyed fabrics, tulle and lace. She calls these unique dresses “trash couture” worn all over the world. Besides that for hair and make-up Moderngrace worked with natural cosmetics, and goldsmith Susanne Anna’s rings are made from recycled gold and fair trade mine gold.”

They could not have rounded off this inspiration shoot more perfectly, which takes into account our precious earth. Photographer Simone Betz of  ROVA Fine Art Wedding has achieved her goal and proved to us: “A sustainable, ecological and glamorous wedding is possible!”
