Leather – consistent and durable like love
We think of leather and smell its unmistakable scent. We see leather and know exactly how its soft and smooth surface feels like. Full-grained or clean, plain or colored, as shoes, bags or belts – hardly any other material is as multifaceted and versatile as leather.
But what has leather to do with love, you might ask. As symbol for durability and consistency it became tradition to give your partner a little something made of leather to your third anniversary of marriage. Possibilities are almost endless. What a romantic thought!
Leather even has great potential as decorative element as we can see on the expressive pictures shot by Angelique Smith. Place mats, menus and name tags adorn the bountiful table, while the bride complements her wedding dress by Janita Toerien with a tough leather jacket and a rustic shoulder bag.
Dried flower arrangements, some candle light on and a cow skin under the table, everything presented in the proper light among a minimalistic room to showcase this total artwork uninterrupted – the images by Angelique Smith inspire and fascinate us equally. How about you?
