Love with Abandon

 

Love with abandon – isn’t it a beautiful theme that Karie and Field from Ace & Whim chose for their workshop?

Together with event designer Katherine Thornhill from Lucky & In Love and a fantastic team they created a very classy wedding world with countless inspirations and details among an breathtaking desert landscape including dramatic clouds in the sky.

Artfully arranged flowers from Sarah’s Garden, natural decoration items in slate tones and a breathtaking wedding dress designed by Alexandra Grecco spread pure fascination.

Karie from Ace & Whim said: “The idea of all consuming love meeting in a place of total desolation like the desert is what drove the inspiration for this styled shoot at our recent workshop. Natural elements, slate tones and a grey wedding dress were perfect compliments to our inspiration. We had no idea that nature was going to take our visions to a whole new level. Only an hour into the styled shoot with our students, a Haboob (dust storm), which occur frequently during monsoon season, hit our shoot.”

It’s truly a magical moment to dive into the dreamlike pictures shot by Ace & Whim and to get inspired by these impressive pieces of art.
