Renewal of marriage vows in Provence

On a beautiful June day, Louise and Mark renewed their vows at the picturesque Château de Montjoie in Provence, France. Originally from England, they now live in Australia. Both already had children and decided to hold the party in France to save their guests the long journey to Australia.

The Château de Montjoie, a hidden gem in Provence, provided the perfect backdrop for this special day. With its historic interior and extensive gardens, which allowed for a picturesque ceremony in front of the fountain, it was the ideal location for an intimate and emotional celebration.

Louise wore a stunning wedding dress from Love Story Bride, which emphasized her natural elegance. A particularly nice detail was that Louise and her daughter had identical bouquets of flowers, symbolizing the close bond and importance of family to them both.

The day began for Louise and Mark in separate rooms in the castle, where they prepared for the ceremony and photographer Julien Jeanne took their first photos. The emotional highlight of the day was the moment when they saw each other for the first time during the ceremony. Although it was a small celebration with only 25 guests, the atmosphere was characterized by intense feelings and deep solidarity.

After the moving ceremony, the guests enjoyed a refreshing cocktail before the wedding meal took place on the terrace of the castle. From there, there was a wonderful view of the garden. The couple chose a French cream puff cake, a “croquembouche”, as their wedding cake.
