Dreamy boho bride in Sicily

White stone staircases, playful round arches, azure tiles and a dreamy view over the city to the sea of Sicily now put us in the mood for the dreamy boho bride.

Sky and ocean seem to merge, shimmering in the most beautiful shades of blue. Silence. Not a bird, not even the sound of the sea reaches our ears. Only the arrival of the bride brings the house on the mountain to life.

A life full of contrasts. Her dress plays with the colors of the water, pink flowers with the immaculate white of the island. In the end, all unite harmoniously on the table, in stationery, tableware and centerpiece.

“Sicily is made up of incredible landscapes, ancient architecture and culinary traditions.” enthuses photographer couple Erica and Marco of Les Amis Photo. “It is located in the Mediterranean Sea and surrounded by many smaller islands like Panarea, the most glamorous but also the wildest among them. For this reason we also chose exactly this island for our shoot.”

Event Planner Scent of Orchid transformed the fairytale Hotel Raya into a delightful jewel that shone in the most beautiful colors of the island under the Italian sun.

“We decided on a color palette in shades of cobalt blue and white, with hints of magenta in the flowers and light blue in the decorative elements. The gorgeous dress was by Christos Costarellos gives the bride a sophisticated boho look, which we completed with a delicate and sophisticated headband by Orchidee de Soie.

With a gorgeous silk runner falling to the ground and moving gently in the sea breeze, we created romantic mood . In the bouquet hand-dyed silk ribbon used the same shade of light blue. For the pretty bridal bouquet, we took inspiration from Mediterranean flowers. We combined green eucalyptus and olive leaves with white and magenta peonies and ornithogalum flowers.

We decorated the table with a Sicilian ceramic tile, pretty glasses, cutlery and complemented it with beautiful calligraphy by Betty Soldi.”
