romantic wedding inspiration at the La Badia di Orvieto
A stunning masterpiece of architecture catapults us back to ancient times, to the gorgeous elopement of a desirable, young goddess.
Closely entwined by the vineyards and olive groves of Tuscany this century old Abbey awakes from its beauty sleep, to give the bride and her groom a spectacular ambience as their wedding gift.
Rustic and elegant at the same time, sheltered from the wind and yet under the open sky, historically but not a bit old-fashioned – sounds like contradictions in themselves, but for the hotel “la Bada di Orvieto” that´s quite natural.
„The “La Badia di Orvieto” with this unique Benedictine abbey of 1100 stole our hearts on the first sight.“ Weddings by Silke and Koman Photography told us. „This beautiful boutique hotel is the oldest hotel of Italy and with their 27 rooms perfect for exclusive bookings for a destination wedding.“
Together with well-known vendors of the Italian wedding industry they honored this incomparable location with their communal signature and created graceful elopement inspirations.
“Inspired by the amazing surroundings we pieced together modern and traditional elements with the romantic set in our mind. We wanted to show the couples how the venue could be styled for an intimate wedding or elopement and show them how amazing the dinner table could be at this breathtaking spot with an amazing view to Orvieto.“
For harmonious and authentic details wedding designer Silke collaborated among others with the traditional family business Del Brenna Jewelry, who contributed precious silver and rose golden jewelry matching the color concept perfectly.
Fineart Flowers Tuscany created the most beautiful flower arrangements, that rounded out each scene harmoniously.
Highlight of the shoot was without question the bride in the look of a graceful goddess of antiquity. Her wedding dress by Musat Bridal accentuated her female charms and glamourous jewelry by Nea Bridal Milan decorated her long, brown hair.
Actually, we did not expect anything else from this collaboration, but great impressions and captivating shots. And yet we are deeply impressed and hopelessly enchanted by the result that the photographers John and Marlene from Koman Photography captured for us on their cameras…
