Spring sweetness in pastel

Refinement, elegance, delicacy and spring are the keywords of this enchanting shoot at Château de Rajat in Lyon, France. The idea for this shoot was born from the desire to create the beauty of spring and the rebirth of nature at this time of year with a floral, soft and elegant universe in pastel colors.

The shoot was created in collaboration with wedding planner and designer Olivia from L’Atelier Atypique, florist Emmanuelle from Mariage Naturel and Yangly from Yangly Photographie. Thanks to the gorgeous outdoor space, they were able to let their imaginations run wild, using pastel colors and soft tones to create a scenography in the spirit of the castle and garden.

The bride was wearing an elegant and flowing wedding dress made of white tulle by Millia London, in keeping with the refined and soft atmosphere. The tulle surrounds the bride like a soft cloud, the back is partly free and the long train, also made of tulle, makes it look breathtaking.

For the floral decorations they chose a color palette in pastel shades with pinks, lilacs and sky blues that represent delicacy and spring. They created the table design with refined, simple and soft tableware with white pearl plates, Belle Époque glasses, Windsor silverware from Maison Options. Furthermore glass napkin holders and candlesticks for a soft delicacy. The flowers and candles were chosen in pastel colors. White Chantilly chairs completed the table, for an elegant garden feel. Of particular note was the crystal candelabra that hung above the table. The fixture was lavishly decorated with greenery and pastel flowers. Also very romantic is the garden swing, which the florists also decorated with greenery and the color-coordinated flowers.

The stationery by Filigrane Haute-Papeterie was designed in harmony with the spring atmosphere and the chosen pastel colors.

To add a touch of poetry and extra sophistication, a violinist was hired to accompany the bride and groom on this beautiful day. The color scheme is wonderfully cohesive and perfect for a spring wedding, both in a country or elegant location.
