Sweet Decadence

Bleary, the ivy-overgrown castle opens its doors to let us glance upon a new world called “Sweet Decadence”.

As if the time stands still since the last century, it appears historically antique, both inside and out.

While precious wood, elaborate stucco and contemporary paintings adorn its rooms, high towers, heavy doors and old walls tell us stories from a long-ago era…

This era was breathtakingly revived by the event planners of The Experialist  who staged a modern love story among the forgotten estate of castle La Baronia.

As if it was an enchanted castle, La Baronía bewitched us and inspired us to create this styled shoot that transports us to other times.” they told us.

However, this magical place was source of inspiration enough, as they explained to us.  “The venue was the starting point to write the story of a romance in which there was a very ethereal and delicate bride, a very in love groom of deep green eyes, some verses of Jane Austen and their very intimate vows.  From there, the romanticism flowed through pastel colours, like dusty pink, greyish green and cream, old gold elements, engraved crystal and dark wood.”

The florists of Flowercap created unbelievably beautiful floral arrangements as the icing on the cake that rounded out the picture harmoniously.

Photographer Martina from La Boutique de la Luz  proved her instincts for aesthetics and fine art and captured this unique journey into the past on impressive pictures for us.
