Timeless wedding romance at Chateau Villette

Located 40 minutes from downtown Paris, Chateau de Villette is an enchantingly romantic manor house. Nestled in a large forest park, with two lakes, a magnificent cascading fountain, a glass house and an orangery, the estate is the epitome of elegance and natural charm.

This beautiful setting inspired wedding planner Kirsten Rezek of Nobl Events to create this unique editorial. With a great sense of style and aesthetics, she and a great team created enchanting wedding visions with many artfully arranged details.

From Nobl Events: “We set out to play with colour, light and simplicity in this shoot. We strove for timelessness in the silhouettes and details, against a stunning backdrop ripe with history.

Table Design

We’ve seen a lot of wedding design over the years and sometimes the most timeless table is one that is simple. Every item is thoughtfully detailed, from the vanilla and sesame noir macrons on display, to the subtle romantic detailing on the plates and calligraphy place cards from Olumis Calligraphy, we wanted to evoke gentle nostalgia and wistfulness.

Apparel

We’re calling this year the Sleeve Renaissance, and so we sought to embrace this timeless trend. We immediately fell in love with this off the shoulder gown by Sarah Seven from her Bride collection. Silk crape fell lovingly on our bride’s figure and looked classic against our groom’s signature black tux from Tiger of Sweden.

Our Couple

Representation is so important to us, and our shoot was designed with this in mind. Love knows no colour, and we wanted a shoot that represented what was near and dear to us as well as represented many of the couples we work with in real life.”

Photographer Mouna Tahar of Memoires en Or experimented with different light sources, lenses and details for this editorial. Her play with lens flares created surprising rainbows, lens flares and light reflections. She loves to use the available natural light to create authentic imagery that impresses.
