Water and art at Lac d’Annecy
This wedding shoot shows the picturesque Lac d’Annecy in the French Alps. This place radiates magic and offers a top-class backdrop for unforgettable weddings. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and the renowned Palace de Menthon, you will find the perfect combination of wilderness and sophistication.
The pictures by photographer Quentin Blanc and wedding planner Julie & Romeo Wedding show two different settings. The first two dresses, on the beach and on the boat, are by Galatée Couture, a talented designer from Paris who draws her inspiration from Mediterranean mythology. The third dress, worn at the Palace de Menthon, is by Les Filles Fidèles and adds a more traditional touch that still harmonizes perfectly with the other dresses.
Inspired by John William Waterhouse, a 19th century painter, the aim of the shooting team was to build a bridge between painting and photography. Therefore, painterly elements were integrated into the shoot, such as brushes and color palettes, to add texture and a physical feel. Watercolor paintings by Anna Studio were also used to combine water and painting, as water played a central role.
The boat was made by local craftsmen and embodies unique craftsmanship. Laura from Le Clos Végétal’s flower selection was carefully chosen to emphasize the warmth of the shoot.
This romantic wedding shoot is a journey of creativity and love. It is a tribute to the beauty of nature, the power of art and the magic of love.
