Wedding in Berlin full of fun and joie de vivre

Chal and Marwin celebrated a July wedding in Berlin. It was an international wedding, as Chal’s roots are from Thailand and Marwin is from Germany. They chose Berlin, their adopted home, to celebrate their love and share the joyous day with their loved ones.

Thai ceremony in the morning

The morning began at The Westin Grand, where the day started with a first look in the hotel foyer and a Thai ceremony on the hotel’s roof terrace after a first styling. The bride’s grandmother, who later also walked with the bride down the aisle, officiated the ceremony, for which the beautiful couple were traditionally dressed.

Styling & departure to the church

The two then changed and enjoyed the styling with their favorites, the bridesmaids and groomsmen, in the hotel suites. Alla Lemax styled the bride with subtle and stylish make-up, Chal wore her hair tied back in a classic style. From there they went separately to the church ceremony.

The church ceremony

Everything was ready for the wedding ceremony in the minimalist Parochial Church. Wedding planner Janine Stange from Sarah Linow Wedding Planner had planned and coordinated the day and the wedding design perfectly with the couple. A mirrored carpet led to the wedding arch, which had been decorated with baby’s breath and roses all in white by the Flower Factory. The ceremony got off to a fun start with the flower men walking in instead of children, followed by the entrance of the bride with her grandmother. The couple made loving vows to each other, which caused many tears of joy, the little white family dog brought the rings to the altar and after an emotional ceremony the couple went joyfully out of the church.

Couple shoot in Berlin

The couple traveled to Berlin’s “Museum Island” in an electric carriage for a couple shoot with photographers Vivid Symphony and videographers Billy Manalief. In the meantime, the guests had time to arrive at the venue of the celebration, the Hotel de Rome. There, the couple were happily welcomed by the guests. After the Champagne pyramid, everyone took the opportunity to take photos on Bebelplatz in front of the hotel.

Celebration and party

The grandiose ballroom in the Hotel de Rome was also decorated in white with large bouquets of gypsophila. After all the guests were seated in the hall, the bridal party, the closest bride maids and grooms men, walked into the ballroom waving napkins to loud music. The couple followed and danced the first round in the middle of their best friends. After dinner, the opening dance was not long in coming. The stylish couple had also put on bright shoes, which were another eye-catcher on the evening. A wonderful party night with good music from DeeJay MIBA and lots of dancing followed and should be remembered for a long time to come.
