A wedding on the Greek island of Ios – a true fairytale on the Mediterranean.

Chelsea and Chris from Wales had decided to seal their love on the island of Ios, which they both carry deep in their hearts. This small island, which can only be reached by boat, may not have an international airport, but it is rich in beauty, tradition and romance.

The choice of colors – white and terracotta – paid homage to the island’s picturesque landscapes while reflecting the simplicity and elegance Chelsea and Chris wanted for their wedding.

The Cycladic gemstone villa that served as the backdrop for this celebration was simply breathtaking. Wedding planner and designer Ioanna Karatza added a special touch to every detail that perfectly expressed Chelsea and Chris’ vision. The wedding ceremony took place in an open amphitheater, which touched the hearts of all the guests with its spectacular view.

Chelsea was radiant in a gown by designer Martina Liana Bridal that looked like it was made for a Greek goddess. With a mermaid style and an ethereal veil, she was undoubtedly the radiant centerpiece of this special day. Her own creativity was also evident in her self-made headdress, which emphasized her beauty even more.

The floral decorations by Chaniotis Blumenwerkstatt transformed the villa into a true floral dream and the highlight of the evening was the delicious cake by El Ios Cakes.

Special details such as the hanging lights and flowers that adorned the bridal table and the modern accents of copper and rust gold palm leaves added a unique touch to the ceremony.

The day flew by, from the bride and groom’s preparations to the reception. The villa provided the perfect setting for this special occasion and fulfilled every wish of the happy couple.
