Milona and Matteo’s intimate engagement was inspired by the springtime, romance, elegance and timelessness of Lake Como in Italy. Villa del Balbianello was where it all began and with its iconic presence, there was no doubt that it would be the ideal setting for their love affair. Having both traveled the world, Lake Como exudes the elements of romance and fun that they always enjoy together.

Villa Del Balbianello is one of the landmarks of Lake Como and a unique and desirable location, not only for a visit but also for a dream wedding. The villa sits high above the water with breathtaking views of Lake Como and the mountains surrounding the lake, lush gardens, stunning tree-lined walkways, sculptures, artifacts and other beautiful works of art.

. Krisanna Elizabeth ‘s stationery was the first thing guests saw before arriving, with many custom elements, including a spectacular hand-drawn illustration of the villa.

Sofia Provera designed the wedding dresses especially for Milona and all the elements that Villa Del Balbianello evokes. When she arrived at the location, Milona first wore a short cocktail dress with floral and lace elements, which harmonized perfectly with Matteo’s light, sand-colored suit. The main dress Milona wore to the villa was a stunning, flowing and romantic gown with a detachable, high-neck, long-sleeved lace neckline; a formal black suit matched this dress perfectly. Milona’s third dress was a champagne-colored, off-the-shoulder lace dress with long, flowing shoulders. Milona wore this dress as they took a water cab around Lake Como, making a pit stop to toast with champagne and enjoy the dramatic view of the villa and lake.
