Intimate Wedding Visions at Chateau Marcellus

Who doesn’t dream of traveling to France, enjoying the idyllic countryside and wonderful cuisine, and paying a visit to chateaus steeped in history. Nestled between picturesque fields and unspoiled nature, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, Chateau Marcellus evokes the idea of romance, peace and serenity.

In this magnificent estate, a great team set the scene for a dream editorial, designed by wedding planner Mélissa Wilpotte, captured by photographer Cesarem Piaze and videographer Julien Duthe. The details were created in harmony with the venue, their passions for history, and their visions of sophistication and nature.

From Cesarem Piaze: “The Château de Marcellus, classified as a historical monument, is a real inspiration, property of XVIII, in the Bordeaux area. The castle has belonged to the same family for centuries. The property offers a majestic setting with these rare and authentic pieces. The new owners wanted to renovate the castle and open their doors to celebrate beautiful events.

We wanted to create an elegant and natural atmosphere, with an authentic side as you would expect for a castle in the Bordeaux area.

We wont the most alluring of bride with a beautiful gown by Galia Lahav and her freshness bride bouquet and make up by the talented Fanny Wong.

The venue is enhanced with a floral design, by Veronique Lorre, with natural colors such as shades of green, peach and to soften some touches of light pink, an extraordinary reception, with a sweetness cake by Little Cake Sisters, define a fantastic place for a wedding that we wanted to share through the work of each professional of the team.

The illustration of the stationery by Atelier Preszburger represent sumptuously the Chateau Marcellus.

It was an obviousness for the team, to showcase this precious moments and the beauty of the gorgeous region with the Chateau Marcellus. The charm of Bordeaux and authenticity are ubiquitous.”
