L’ amour est bleu

Love is blue is the name of this beautiful wedding inspiration by wedding planner Lilly Herzenbruch from Herzhochzeiten and Amber & Muse photographer Katja Ziegert.
Blue is a beautiful color that is sometimes forgotten when thinking about a wedding concept. According to tradition, a bride should wear something new, something old, something borrowed and something blue to the wedding. It symbolizes the new and old stages of life, friendship and family, as well as loyalty. The “lucky penny” in the shoe complements the desire for prosperity. This wedding shoot took place in a small private estate. It was once a moated castle and is now a manor house that has been in the family for 650 years. The blue and white styled table was set in the garden, in nature, with the beautiful manor house in the background. The blue and white tablecloth with floral patterns was particularly elegant. As a splash of color to the blue napkins and golden cutlery, there were golden candlesticks with pink candles. Lea’s BlumengARTen took care of the floral design with roses, wildflowers, daisies and blue thistles. The bridal bouquet and the romantic table decorations with lots of small vases were very pretty. The bride’s blue handbag with floral jewelry was also particularly beautiful and original. The delicate stationery in white and light blue tones with floral patterns from Kleine Karte matched the design perfectly.

The wedding cake with a delicate blue floral print and small sweets with blue sugar flowers from Maggie’s Kuchenwaren is also a real eye-catcher.
